A Tourist Attraction Reimagined Application for

Cordillera Administrative Region using Augmented Reality

ABOUT

In response to the significant impact of tourism recovery in this time of healthcare pandemic, The Project TARACAR aims to enhance the tourists' experience in exploring the beauty of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) using augmented reality (AR). TARA CAR promotes attractions of CAR not only in Baguio City but also in Benguet, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay (BLISTT) area.

The application was geared towards sustainable tourism that at the later part it benefits the locals, it preserves the natural environment which later makes the BLISTT area prepared for the future and making it a better place to live.


TARACAR FEATURES

Features include immersive experience through AR and GPS on accessing information in terms of transportation, location, itineraries, accommodations, visitor management system and destination to any point of interest of the tourist.
